Fourth person killed on WA roads in 2017 after crash in Perth’s north

The State’s road toll has risen to four following the death of a motorcyclist in Perth’s north.

The multiple car crash happened at the intersection of Hodges Drive and Caridean Street in Heathridge around 3.20pm on Tuesday.

According to police, a white Toyota Landcruiser collided with the back of the Yamaha motorbike and a silver Mazda 3, which then collided with a white Mazda 6, a white Mitsubishi ASX and a white Subaru Forester.

The 23-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Joondalup Heath Campus where he died shortly after.

The drivers of the other five vehicles were also taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

It is the fourth death on WA roads in just four days, with all crash victims men aged in their 20s.
