Young dirt biker dead after Aubin Grove smash

Friends and family have paid tribute to the teenager who lost his life whilst riding his dirt bike in Aubin Grove on Wednesday night.

Mitchell Chase suffered serious injuries after his Honda CRF 250 collided with a Mitsubishi ASX on Cotswold Parade at around 7.30pm on Wednesday.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 49 year old man, was cut free from his car whilst Mitchell was transported to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died, his family making the heartbreaking decision to turn off his life support late yesterday afternoon.

Mitchell, a former member of the Willeton Wildcats, has been remembered as a caring, funny boy who was loved by everyone.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
