On Saturday the 14th of November, McHappy Day is back at McDonalds!

McHappy Day is the largest annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia and raises
vital funds that help keep families together when their child is seriously ill or injured.

This year, from Wednesday, 21st October, you can support Ronald McDonald House Charities by picking-up a pair of Silly Socks or a Helping Hand from their nearest McDonald’s or via McDelivery.

In addition to funds generated from the sale of Silly Socks and Helping Hands during October and
November, $2 from every Big Mac sold on McHappy Day, Saturday 14th November, will also go to the charity.

“Since McDonald’s first started McHappy Day nearly three decades ago, the fundraiser has raised more
than $51 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities. These funds have played a vital role in helping
the charity keep thousands of families together when they need it most.”
Barbara Ryan, Chief Executive Officer, Ronald McDonald House Charities, added, “This year has been
especially tough for families of seriously ill or injured children, and as a charity we’ve had to stretch
ourselves and adapt the ways we operate to continue to support these families during this challenging
time."

Australians can show their support for McHappy Day in a number of ways, including:
• Picking-up a pair of $5 Silly Socks, or Helping Hands for $2, $10 or $50 from Wednesday, 21st
October from their local Macca’s or via McDelivery
• Buying a Big Mac on Saturday 14th November from their nearest McDonald’s or via
McDelivery, with $2 from every Big Mac sold on McHappy Day going directly to RMHC
• Making a donation online by visiting www.rmhc.org.au/give
