Event Summary

ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Vance Joy is backing up his newly-released album ‘Nation of Two’ with an Australian tour this September. Dates for Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth have been locked in, surely bringing joy to his fans all over the country.

‘Nation of Two’ came out last 23 February via Liberation Records. It is a follow up to Vance’s critically-acclaimed debut record, 2015’s ‘Dream Your Life Away’. "I'm feeling really good about [the new album], it was a long time coming," said Vance about the album release in a print interview with scenestr.

The tour will see Vance performing hits off the album—including ‘Lay It On Me’, ‘Like Gold’, ‘Call If You Need Me’ and ‘We’re Going Home’ to name a few—with his band. Opening the shows for him will be Brissie alternative indie pop group Cub Sport and Melbourne singer-songwriter Didirri. Apart from the Aussie dates, Vance will also be doing shows in North and South America, Europe, Africa and New Zealand.

Since 2013, Vance Joy has been sharing his incredible talent to the world. So far, he’s released two albums with chart-topping singles, embarked on tours and even supported country pop superstar Taylor Swift on her 1989 World Tour. In 2015, he won the ‘Best Male Artist’ award for ‘Dream Your Life Away’ at the the 2015 ARIA Awards.
