Blake Shelton's new single causing controversy

The American Country singer has come under fire.

Blake Shelton, the American Country singer, has released his controversial single, "Minimum Wages" which he performed at the NBC New Year's special.

But, the song has fallen flat with some fans, who have said a millionaire shouldn’t be singing about minimum wages, especially during the current situation with the pandemic.

Blake responded to critics on ET Canada about the true meaning of the song saying it's how his fiancé, Gwen Stefani makes him feel.

The singer went on to say, "If that’s offensive to you, then we’ll just have to agree to disagree."

"They just want to hear what they want to hear, and they want to pick a fight. No matter what your intention is, no matter what the truth is, they want it to be something that they can be upset about so that they can get on social media and try to grab a headline."

What is your take on the single?

We think it's a fab country song and definitely got our toes tappin'.
