Ellen and Seinfeld think Netflix is a joke... here's why

Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock agree.

If you happened to watch the Emmy's on Monday (Sep 18), you would have caught this clever clip promoting new stand-up comedy specials coming to Netflix.

The specials will include Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock and the marketing was genius.

Months before they aired the clip, banners reading 'Netflix is a joke' were popping up everywhere and of course, the smart marketing was aimed at piquing the public's interest, so when the clip finally aired, it all made sense.

The video features scenes from already popular Netflix shows like, House of Cards, The Crown, Orange is the New Black and Stranger Things with the featured comedians joke-bombing scenes amongst the drama.

Hilarious. Check it out.

Seinfeld's feature, Jerry Before Seinfeld is now streaming on Netflix.
