We have our first glimpse at season four of Stranger Things and we couldn't be more excited, because... HOPPER.

YEP.

Chief Hopper didn't die in the apocalyptic blast at the end of season three... he actually survived and the Russians now have him prisoner.

So that's who they were talking about when they were referring to 'the American'... oh, they also have a demorgorgan! 

No official date has been released, but at least we can breathe easy knowing Hopper lives to grump another day.

YAS. Back to the Upside Down we go.
