Kate Miller-Heidke is the voice of Australia for Eurovision 2019

Kate Miller-Heidke!

She and nine other Australian acts performed in front of a panel of judges as the public voted via text message and she emerged the winner.

Miller-Hedke had a total of 135 points, 87 points from the public and 48 points from the jury of industry judges with her single Zero Gravity.

Electric Fields came second with their song 2000 and Whatever on 114 points, while Sheppard came in third with On My Way on 87 points.

Miller-Heidke said she was "totally overwhelmed" by the result.

The 64th Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is set to take place in Tel Aviv, Israel from May 14.
