Madonna has dropped her graphic new music video for her single God Control which mirrors the tragic 2016 mass nightclub shooting in Florida.

The controversial clip has caused quite the stir with survivors of the Pulse Nightclub shooting describing the visual as "insensitive."

Madonna has backed up her reasons and says that she is shining a light on the problem of gun control in the US.

The upbeat disco-driven tune strikes quite the contrast to the imagery in Mads music video.
