Paris Jackson performs her 90's inspired rock single 'lighthouse' on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show

From folk to grunge. 🕯

Paris Jackson brings all the 90s rock-grunge in her new single 'lighthouse' which she performed for the first time on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

The daughter of the late Michael Jackson has shied away from the spotlight in previous years but in 2020, she released her debut solo album ‘Wilted’, boasting a folk sound, which NME cited as “a collection of 11 intimate songs that’ll fit like your favourite sweater.”

Now she has taken a different approach with her latest release, citing inspiration from 90's bands like Weezer and Nirvana.

Paris literally channels Kurt Cobain in her official music video for lighthouse (see below) with the track boasting gritty, distorted guitar, and that famed Seattle garage band sound.

What do you think of Miss Jackson's single? We are totally digging it.

Check out the official music video below for 'lighthouse' which Paris has said was inspired by Nirvana's single Sliver
