The Glastonbury Festival, which is arguably Britain’s biggest annual music event, has announced a legendary name to headline next year’s 50th anniversary festival… none other than former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney.
McCartney will play the Saturday night slot on June 27, which will be his first performance at Glastonbury since 2004.
The only other artist announced so far, is Supreme's star Diana Ross, who is set to perform on the Sunday 28, on the Pyramid Stage's legend slot.
