Rockingham musician Matt Gresham impresses on The Voice

And has the coaches blocking each other to secure him on their team.

Our very own Rockingham muso, Matt Gresham has returned to reality TV.

After a brief stint on X-Factor back in 2013, Matt is back to share his talent with us all on a new platform.

On Sunday night on 9's The Voice, Matt turned all four coaches chairs with a moving cover of Lewis Capaldi's Bruises.

He opened up and revealed that he had 'quit music' in 2018 after losing his close friend and fellow touring musician Luke Liang, who tragically took his own life (and was also friends with Guy Sebastian, inspiring his song Choir).

All the judges were desperately vying for him to be on their team but after Delta blocked Guy, Matt ended up going with Delta Goodrem.

We look forward to seeing more from this amazing local artist.
