Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, best known for her role as 'Elaine' in Seinfeld, has revealed via social media that she is battling cancer.
The 56-year-old broke the news via social media early this morning in a letter reading:
“1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today I am one of them.”

She also called herself lucky and has called for changes in healthcare to make sure other cancer sufferers can get the treatment they deserve.
Her rep told US Weekly "Julia is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and well wishes."
Her co-stars have started sending their well-wishes via twitter also.
