Stephen Spielberg is behind the rebooted animated series.
For anyone who grew up in the Nineties, the Animaniacs were an absolute TV staple.
We all loved the zany antics of Wakko, Yakko and Dot who lived in the Warner Studios Tower, and now, years after it concluded its original run on television, Animaniacs is rebooting with 13 new episodes set to premiere on Hulu on 20 November.
Stephen Spielberg is helming the project, and took liberties with the teaser trailer at Comic Con, incorporating another franchise he is renowned for, Jurassic Park.
Along with our three Animaniacs, we are also promised Pinky and the Brain. NARF!!
Most of the original voice cast will also be back to reprise their roles, including Rob Paulsen as Yakko and Pinky, Jess Harnell as Wakko, Tress MacNeille as Dot, and Maurice LaMarche as the Brain.
The Hulu reboot was made by both Warner Bros. Animation and producer Spielberg’s own Amblin Entertainment, with our Animaniacs getting a totally modern, digitally animated update.
We can't wait for 20 November!!
