The David Bowie biopic Stardust has mixed reviews at Tribeca Film Festival

'Be someone else.'

So, there is a biopic on the late, GREAT David Bowie coming out, titled Stardust - which is set to follow a young David Bowie on a 1971 road trip across America when he was still finding his (first of many) iconic persona - Ziggy Stardust.

Hmmm... we're not sure how we feel about this, but the trailer is out if you want to have a look.

It seems the filmmakers have totally failed to hit the mark, with mixed reviews from the virtual premiere (back in April) at the Tribeca Film Festival.

I mean, if you’re going do a movie on Bowie – then surely you secure the rights to the songs. Or at least one or two?! Unfortunately this biopic doesn’t feature any of Bowie’s epic music… it's more of an insight into how Ziggy Stardust came into being.

Despite some negative press, 37 year old British actor Johnny Flynn has been praised for his portrayal of our favourite musical juggernaut.

Stardust hits select theatres and streaming platforms on November 25th.

Here is the real deal, just to quench your insatiable Bowie thirst.
