The re-imagined Little Women will get you right in the feels

With a star-studded cast including Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson and Meryl Streep.

The beloved literary classic Little Women has been re-imagined once again, this time through the eyes of Greta Gerwig, the director of Oscar winning movie Lady Bird...  and it has a STELLAR cast.

We’re talking Saoirse Ronan as the headstrong Jo, Emma Watson as romantic Meg, Eliza Scanlen as the creative Amy, Florence Pugh as sweet Beth, Laura Dern as the stoic Marmee, Timothee Chalermet as Laurie and Meryl Streep as the prickly, yet loveable Aunt March

Director and screenplay writer Gerwig draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott, and unfolds as the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life.  In Gerwig’s take, the beloved story of the March sisters – four young women each determined to live life on her own terms --  is both timeless and timely.

Little Women is in cinemas on Christmas Day.
