What did you think of the show?
The Weeknd spent millions of his own money and pulled out all the stops for his Super Bowl half-time show, which is already receiving mixed reviews from fans.
But... we are totally picking up what he was putting down.
The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye was going for a cinematic experience due to Covid restrictions, and gave us a cornucopia of neon lights, impressive sets (including a dizzying maze of mirrors), fireworks and eerily dressed figures, who doubled as his choir, and dance crew.
He kicked it it off with a haunting version of Call out My Name, then went straight into his 2016 hit Starboy before working through some of his biggest hits, including The Hills, I Feel it Coming, and Can't Feel My Face.
But of course, we were all waiting for the closing song, Blinding Lights, which was easily the song for 2020, despite the Grammy snub.
What were your thoughts on The Weeknd's Super Bowl show?!
PS. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers completely obliterated the Kansas City Chiefs 31 - 9.
Check out some very mixed reviews from fans...

I loved that @theweeknd halftime.— Sarah Spain (@SarahSpain) February 8, 2021
Badass visuals with that beautiful set & faux city, cool use of the side stage, funhouse mirror effect was awesome. I dug it.
absolutely LOVED halftime... been on @theweeknd wave since day 1 💯— Chiney Ogwumike (@chiney) February 8, 2021
I like The Weeknd and all but if he really spent $10M of his own money on this then he needs to get a refund just for his audio quality alone.— Alexander Taub (@ajt) February 8, 2021
