Ballantyne to wear black and gold

Former Docker Hayden Ballantyne will play for Pinjarra in the Peel Football and Netball League.

The Sandover medallist who retired from Peel Thunder during the 2020-2021 off season has cleared to the Tigers in a major coup.

Former Falcon Jack Shanahan will also play for Pinjarra this season. Shanahan was set for a move to Cairns but COVID-19 prevented the move.

No news on whether Harley Bennell who has been rumoured to join the Tigers will also send up in the black and gold.

In other player movement, South Mandurah have lost Dudley Tuckey medallist Blair Della Franca back to the WAFL competition and key forward Cody Nelson to the South West Football League.

The Falcons have gained ruckman Matthew Bogensperger from Peel Thunder.

Benjamin Higgs has left Baldivis who are now playing in the Perth Football League and has landed at Rockingham for the new season.

Round one will begin on Saturday April 10.
