Bennell commits to Pinjarra

Former Docker Harley Bennell will re-join his old club the Pinjarra Tigers for the upcoming PFNL season.

Bennell will train for the first time this week at the club where he played his junior football and coach Craig Milward is excited about the return of a homegrown player.

"We sat down and had a discussion with him last week, he's committed to the club and it's exciting to see a local return to where he started." Milward said.

Bennell has had an a luckless injury run over the years and it's expected it will again be a cautious approach.

"He looks fit, he'll train this week, we'll take it slowly knowing he has had a couple of injuries."

Pinjarra have also re-signed former AFL listed players Jamie McNamara, Brock O'Brien and Leroy Jetta on top of last week's announcement that Hayden Ballantyne is joining the club.

WAFL listed player Dylan Winton is also expected to clear from East Fremantle to Pinjarra in the coming days.
