Blues put claim on finals place

Centrals have taken a major step to holding down fourth spot on the Peel Football League ladder defeating Waroona by two-points.

The 12.8.80 to 12.6.78 victory moves the Blues now two-games clear of Waroona with five rounds remaining in the home and away season.

Michael Somerville booted four goals for the home side while Bruno Faulkner was adjudged best on ground by the officiating umpires.

In other matches, Rockingham tore apart Halls Head romping away to a 115-point victory while Pinjarra were in cruise control when defeating Mandurah by 81-points on Saturday.
