City take learnings from Glory clash

Despite taking an early 2-0 advantage early in their clash Rockingham City were defeated 3-2 to Perth Glory.

Rockingham City coach Goran Stajic believes the team should have taken the full points from the game.

"Every loss is disappointing, in saying that we had the opportunity to take something more out of the game. It was a great start 2-0 but then we unfortunately handed them a few goals and that was the more disappointing factor." Stajic said.

When asked whether the players had got ahead of themselves at 2-0 Stajic said it they (the players) may have thought it was just going to happen.

"That's an approach that they might have had, unfortunately there was another 80-minutes left but that's the bi-product of youth and get them to understand they just have to keep going."

Rockingham City take on Balcatta this weekend.
