Demons cause upset over Mustangs

A nine goal to two opening half has secured Waroona a 17-point win over the Mandurah Mustangs.

The scoreboard could have looked a lot better for the Demons who stalled in the second half giving away nine goals to four in the second half in the 13.11.89 to 11.6.72 triumph.

Pinjarra failed to fire a shot in their 103-point loss to the Baldivis Brumbies. Blaine Johnson booted four goals in a best on ground performance to lead the home team to an 18.10.118 to 1.9.15 victory.

An inaccurate Rockingham booted 9.17.71 to secure a 35-point win over South Mandurah who kicked 5.6.36 and place them at the top of the ladder.

Centrals continue to string games together on this occasion too good for Halls Head the final score 13.11.89 to 8.9.57.
