A seven goal opening quarter belting has left the Dockers with an unassailable 46-point margin against Port Adelaide.
The worrying trend of inaccuracy continued for Fremantle kicking 9.15.69 to the Powers 18.7.115.
Skipper Nat Fyfe the only multiple goal scorer booting two majors.
Coach Justin Longmuir said his side has been unable to put together four quarters for a lot of the year.
"It has been a bit of a theme for us across the year, we haven’t been able to string it together for four quarters. I don’t think you are going to control a game of AFL for four quarters, I don’t think any team really does that, you just need to hold up when the opposition has control."
Sam Switowski was subbed off during the game with an hamstring injury but Longmuir believed it was not overly serious.
"He’s had some issues in the past with that so we will just have to get him scanned and see what that scan shows us first."
Fremantle are scheduled to play the Western Bulldogs next weekend. The Bulldogs will base themselves in Sydney as Melbourne continues it's lockdown.
