The Dockers have prevailed in the driving rain defeating the Eagles by nine-points in the AFLW derby.
Kiara Bowers was best on ground in the 2.11.23 to 2.2.14 triumph collecting 22 disposals, 14 tackles, seven clearances and booted a goal.
Coach Trent Cooper said they weren't surprised that Bowers thrived in the inclement conditions.
"What we're rapt with now is that she's actually getting a bit more ball on the outside. I think she had 400 metres gained, which today is probably worth 1000 metres in the dry.
"It's an amazing effort to do that. She was clearly the best player on the ground. She drags her teammates along with her."
The Eagles got the early jump on Freo and it took some Gemma Houghton brilliance a no-look snap goal in the second term to spark the Dockers into gear.
Fremantle took control from that point and held their nerve throughout the remainder of the contest to seal the victory.
Aisling McCarthy and Imarha Cameron kicked the majors for West Coast.
