Dominant victory for Perth Glory

Perth Glory have produced a clinical display to defeat Wellington Phoenix 3-0 in the distance derby.

Chris Ikonomidis returning from Socceroos duties found the back of the net as did Shane Lowry and skipper Andy Keogh.

The win hands Perth their seventh of the season and restores a four-point lead at the top of the A-League ladder.

Coach Tony Popovic very pleased with the result.

"It's a great achievement [the four consecutive clean sheets] and I'm delighted for the players and the club. It's not easy to do, so credit to the players." Popovic said.

"When you're creating, you're always satisfied and we've always felt that if we continue to create chances, the goals will come. The focus and the intensity was there and we didn't slack off."

Perth now face Melbourne Victory next Sunday afternoon in Melbourne.
