An Andy Keogh brace has helped Perth Glory secure a 5-0 victory over the Wellington Phoenix.
Keogh's first half goals gave Perth a 2-0 lead at the main break.
Diego Castro joined in first up in the second half followed by Chris Ikonomidis returning from a should injury and finally Brendan Santalab scored in the 82nd minute to complete the onslaught.
Castro was awarded the honour of the Alex Tobin Medallist adjudged the best player in the competition by the Professional Footballers Australia.
Goalkeeper Liam Reddy also secured a new record with 12 clean sheets.
This is the most for a Perth Glory goalkeeper in the A-League era and is also the best record in the competition in 2018/19.
The Glory also scored the most goals and had the most wins throughout the regular season.
Coach Tony Popovic said he had been impressed with the teams attitude since been awarded the Premier Plate.
“This season we’ve been the best team. We’ve scored the most goals, got the most wins and deserved the Premiers Plate. But that’s over now.” Popovic said.
"We sensed the performance would be good all week. We’ve seen them train and the attitude has been excellent.”
Perth will now have a week off before the A-League finals begin.
