Mariners ready for challenge ahead

Rockingham-Mandurah will begin the second half of the WA premier cricket season this Saturday.

The Mariners will host South Perth at Lark Hill in the first of three one-day matches over the next three weekends.

On top of the overall first grade ladder, Rockingham-Mandurah sit sixth on the one-day ladder and will need to win all three matches if they want to play a part in the one-day competition finals.

Import wicketkeeper batsman James Bracey is the teams leading run-scorer 152 runs and averaging 38.

Meanwhile, skipper Craig Simmons leads the way with the ball with 22-wickets and is the competitions fourth leading wicket-taker.
