Willie Rioli's verdict for alleged drug tampering should be known in just a matter of days.
Eagles CEO Trevor Nisbett said he believed the decision was "imminent."
“Hopefully over the next two weeks at a maximum we’ll have a final outcome where we can tell everyone what it is and we can get Willie back on some sort of course back to football but also his meaningful life.” Nisbett told 6PR.
It has been over 12-months since Rioli's hearing on December 16, 2019 and the Eagle has been serving a provisional suspension for 18-months.
Nisbett reaffirmed that Rioli's wellbeing remained the clubs focus.
“The posturing is of no concern to us, the concern to us has always been Willie’s wellbeing and I think he’s in a reasonable place at the moment,” he said.
“People have said it’s not their issue it’s somebody else’s, well okay that’s fine but the issue for us is let’s get a decision made.”
