Scorchers into Big Final

The Perth Scorchers are into the Big Bash League final after defeating Brisbane Heat by 49-runs.

Cameron Bancroft (58*) replaced the injured Jason Roy at the top of the order and combined with Liam Livingstone for an opening stand of 114.

Man of the Match Livingstone scored 77 off 39 balls including five fours and six sixes.

Mitch Marsh climbed the batting order to number three to hit 49 not out from 28 balls as the Scorchers reached 1/189 off 18.1 overs before rained stopped play and Perth's total was readjusted to 200 under the Duckworth Lewis Method

The Brisbane Heat run chase never got going struggling its way to 9/150.

Aaron Hardle claimed three wickets, Jason Behrendorff, AJ Tye and Fawad Ahmed captured two scalps each.

Saturday's final against the Sydney Sixers at the SCG begins at 7:40PM EST.
