The Dockers have handed Ross Lyon the biggest loss in his coaching history to the tune of 104-points.
Sydney dominated from the first siren to the final siren inflicting the biggest win of the season to date 22.11.143 to 5.9.39.
Lyon thought his side battled well in the second half, his side having 10 scoring shots to nine after half time.
"They’re a hard-nosed professional team. I think they had four players different from last year, we had 14 or 15." Lyon said.
"I’m loathe to make excuses, but that’s a fact. I think we had seven first-year players."
Cam McCarthy booted two goals for the Dockers while Matt Taberner is his return kicked one major along with David Mundy and Josh DeLuca.
Fremantle are back at home against Richmond next Sunday.
