The Thunder fall short against Royals

Peel Thunder have slipped up losing to East Perth by 19-points today in the WAFL.

In a dour contest the Royals jumped out of the blocks kicking three goals to one-point in the opening quarter.

Peel kicked two goals in the second to East Perth's three to trail by 24-points at the main break.

Both teams kicked three goals each in the third term as Peel failed to make any inroads into the deficit.

Just one goal in the final was scored by the visitors but it wasn't enough East Perth 9.10.64 defeating Peel Thunder 6.9.45.

Lachie Shultz was the only multiple goalscorer for Peel booting two goals.

If West Perth win on Sunday, Peel could find themselves to be two games outside the top five.
