Thunder chasing finals second chance

Peel Thunder will have another crack at Swan Districts in attempt to sure up second spot on the WAFLW ladder.

Unable to get over the top of Swans from two attempts so far this season it's a must win clash to secure a second chance in the finals series.

Coach Steve Markham under no illusion of what's on the line.

"A win will secure second spot for us, we had the opportunity last week but we fell just short against Subi so we will go all out this week to try and secure second spot." Markham said.

"We were a little inaccurate in front of goals against Subi, we are keen to improve our forward entries including tidying up our small movement going inside 50 and our goal kicking other than that sharpen up the game plan to be ready for this week."

Whilst there are some exclusions for Peel a couple of handy inclusions will re-join the team.

"Courtney Rowley she got injured on the weekend and will miss with an ankle, Jade Briggs is still on the long term injury list and Katie Green was suspended unfortunately but we do get back Sarah Verrier so we are reasonably strong."

Bounce down is at 12:10pm before the WAFL men's league clash between the same sides.
