Thunder hold firm to third spot

Peel Thunder have overcome a slow start to secure a 21-point win over the Perth Demons.

The contest lacked inspiration from the first bounce as the wind played havoc with both teams.

Peel recording their 11th win of the season 11.10.76 to 8.7.55.

Harley Bennell booted two goals and collected 14 disposals as he continues to build towards an AFL recall.

Brett Milward, Blair Bell and Tom Sheridan also kicked two goals each.

The Thunder holding onto third spot by just one game after Swan Districts lost to East Perth.

Peel finish the season with matches against East Fremantle at Shark Park and a home game against South Fremantle.
