Thunder struggle to tame Lions roar

Peel Thunder have coughed up a nine goal to one opening half to be beaten by ladder leaders Subiaco by 41-points.

The home side fought back in the second half outscoring Subiaco seven goals to six but the damage had already been done in the 15.9.99 to 8.10.58 loss.

Harley Bennell continues to build ahead of a potential AFL return collecting 25-disposals, five marks and four inside 50s.

Hayden Ballantyne booted three goals and Blair Bell two as Peel's only multiple goal-scorers.

Peel are now two games outside the top four teams in the competition and could be outside the top five after Monday's WA day matches.
