Tigers prove too strong for Dockers

A banged up Richmond Tigers outfit have ambushed the Dockers claiming a 25-point win over the home side.

Down to two fit men on the bench after half time and missing several key stars Richmond found a way to out run their opposition and record a 17.9.111 to 12.14.86 triumph.

Nat Fyfe was clearly the Dockers best booting three goals, collecting 33-disposals and recording eight clearances.

Sam Switkowski and Jesse Hogan kicked two goals each.

Coach Ross Lyon said post-game that his side missed some fundamentals.

"I thought they were harder and pressured stronger for longer than us." Lyon said.

"We could have spread the ball better than we did today, and make them defend stronger than they did."

Fremantle are now 50/50 from season 2019 and sit eighth on the ladder.

The Dockers play Essendon on Saturday at Marvel Stadium.
