Turner guides Scorchers home

A smashing 31-ball 70 from Ashton Turner has rocketed the Perth Scorchers back to to top of the Big Bash table.

Chasing 186 for victory, Turner came to the crease at 2/46 in the 7th over.

English import David Willey (55 from 41) and Turner combined for a 87-run partnership to steer the home side in the right direction.

A cameo 26 not out from 17 balls from Ashton Agar got the Scorchers over the line.

Earlier in the day, AJ Tye claimed two wickets in the bowling performance.

The Scorchers next take on the Sydney Thunder on Thursday night in Sydney.
