Seven West Aussies are headed to sub continent this month for the T20 and ODI series against India.
Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jason Behrendorff, Ashton Turner, Jhye Richardson, Marcus Stoinis, Shaun Marsh and D'Arcy Short who has been included in the early part of the tour to cover for Marsh who is expecting his second child are the seven selected.
25-year-old Turner could make his debut off the back of some consistent T20 form.
“ I’ve made myself available to play, albeit in a restricted capacity, but I feel I’m batting well enough to justify selection in these white-ball teams,” Turner said.
Turner has had shoulder issues for a number of months.
“My shoulder, eventually I’m probably going to have to have something done."
