The Perth Wildcats have made it eight straight triumphs in a row after defeating the Sydney Kings 95-89.
Perth came from behind trailing by two-points at the final break before star Bryce Cotton broke the game open.
Cotton scored 12 of his 22 points in the final quarter while John Mooney had an inspiring game continuing his form with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wildcats are now 14-4 having won 12 of their past 13 games and are on top of ladder.
Coach Trevor Gleeson said he knew the contest was going to be a tough one.
"We knew they would bounce back and it was a tough physical contest, but it was a good learning experience for the team,"
Perth and Sydney will again meet on Thursday night.
