The Perth Wildcats have won an NBL playoffs atmosphere like thriller against the Sydney Kings 73-69.
In another brilliant performance Bryce Cotton top scored with 23-points and six-assists while John Mooney was equally important knocking down 21-points and 10 rebounds.
Coach Trevor Gleeson said defeating the Kings for a third straight time was a play off like winning feeling.
“You get complacent, you face the same things, you think you know what you’re doing, but I’m really proud of the guys to get three wins in a row, especially when two of those were in Sydney.”
“To find a way, a will, to win was first class. The guys stayed together, they were a tight group. They showed their brotherhood out there. They really had to grind that win out.”
The top of the ladder Perth now head to Adelaide to take on the 36ers on Saturday.
