The Perth Wildcats have ended their gruelling five-straight away games with a hard-fought win over the Adelaide 36ers.
They walked away from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre with a 99-95 victory.
Dario Hunt was dominant for the Cats in the first half, scoring 15 of his 19 points.
Nick Kay finished with a season-high 21 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a block.
He was thrilled to come away with the win.
"Adelaide has a distinctive style, high-energy and you have to match that or they're going to beat you. I think we did a great job of that in the second half," said Kay.
"It was a good result now we get to head home and take home court."
The 36ers held the lead for most of the first half and were up by one-point at the half time break.
But a 31-point third quarter from the Cats allowed them to take control of the game.
Their biggest lead was nine points, but Adelaide fought hard to give themselves a chance.
The Wildcats come out of their five-game road trip with three wins.
They now head back home to face the New Zealand Breakers at RAC Arena on Sunday.
