A comprehensive lineup of Anzac Day commemorations and events to honor and remember the sacrifices of servicemen and women held at various locations within the region.
Mandurah
Dawn Service – Mandurah War Memorial Hall Park (Leighton Place, Halls Head) 5:55am Followed by a Gunfire Breakfast provided by Mandurah Lions Club – served in the War Memorial Precinct – Brekky rolls $5
March and Main Service – Form up 9:30am (Skatepark end of Hall Park) for 10:15am step off with Choir.
Public are welcome to lay floral tributes. Service will include Fly Over, Tri Service, Cadets, 10th Light Horse, local Pipe Band and vintage cars.
Rockingham
Dawn Service – Village Green, Rockingham 5:30am
Sausage Sizzle breakfast available after. PCYC Hall Palm Beach
March – Village Green, Rockingham Form up 10am for 10:20am start. Main Service 11am
Port Kennedy
Dawn Service – Veteran’s Memorial Park, Port Kennedy 6:00am
Gunfire breakfast at Port Kennedy RSL $5 (27 Paxton Way, Port Kennedy)
Music Entertainment from 12pm, Kitchen will be open all day, 2UP 12-4:30pm
Dawesville
Dawn service at the memorial on Estuary drive Dawesville (opposite Lepechaun Café) commencing at 5:40 am. Followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at Port Bouvard Recreation & Sporting Club.
Coolup
Annual ANZAC EVE service, Wed 24th 5pm (A march from the Coolup store to the memorial will step off at 5pm. Followed by a light supper in the Coolup Hall, visitors are encouraged to bring a plate to share.
Waroona
Dawn Service - Waroona War Memorial, Railside Park. 6:15am followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at Waroona Memorial Hall.
ANZAC Parade - 10:45am from Fouracre St (opp Rec Hotel) to the Waroona War Memorial followed by the ANZAC Service, commencing at 11:00am
Pinjarra
Dawn Service - Pinjarra War Memorial (Cnr Henry & Murray Street) 6:00am followed by Gunfire Breakfast at the RSL Hall.
Serpentine/Jarrahdale
Dawn Service - Mundijong War Memorial (Paterson Street) 5:50am followed by Gunfire Breakfast served on site.
March - Form up 8:30am (Cockram Street) arrive at War Memorial (Paterson Street) by 8:50am
9.00am Commemorative Service 10:00am Free Community Morning Tea served in the Shire Civic Centre.
