On Sunday 12th December, The Compassionate Friends Mandurah Inc. are hosting a Candlelight Memorial Service to honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who left too soon.

The Worldwide Candlelight Memorial Service is held every year on the Second Sunday in December, where, starting in New Zealand, candles are lit at 7pm across the globe in all the different time zones, creating a virtual “ring of light” around the world.
Now believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe, the annual Worldwide Candle Lighting creates a virtual 24-hour wave of light as it moves from time zone to time zone. Hundreds of formal candle lighting events are held, and thousands of informal candle lighting's are conducted in homes, as families gather in quiet remembrance of children who have died and will never be forgotten.

The Compassionate Friends say “that their light may always shine”.

Candlelight Memorial Service will be held at Mandurah Uniting Church 156 Pinjarra Rd Mandurah on Sunday 12th December 2021 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
Service will be led by Rev. John Marshall.

They welcome all bereaved parents, siblings, grandparents, family and friends. You are welcome to bring a small framed photo of your loved one and a plate to share for supper.
