The Land. Adventure. Romance.
Baz Luhrmann has reimagined his controversial 2008 movie Australia into an expanded series called Faraway Downs.
Starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, the movie has been re-edited and reshaped using deleted footage to make it into a six-part series; how Luhrmann said it should have always been seen.
It centers on an English aristocrat (Kidman) and a rough-hewn cattle drover (Jackman) who join forces to protect the million-acre cattle ranch of her late husband.
Faraway Downs will drop on Disney Plus on November 26th.
