A house fire in Golden Bay is believed to have been sparked by an electrical fault in a four-wheel-drive parked in the garage.
The fire started just before 4:30pm on Tuesday near the corner of Yanrey Street and Glenroy Avenue.
Emergency services rushed to the scene with fire units from Rockingham, Secret Harbour, Mandurah, Fremantle and Murdoch arriving to find the two-storey property well alight.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the blaze started as a result of an electrical fault inside a Holden Captiva parked in the garage with the flames quickly spreading inside the Golden Bay garage and into the roof of the house.
It took firefighters around 40 minutes to bring the blaze under control
No one was injured.
It's estimated the fire has caused $100,000 damage.
