A local Mum has won a competition and sent the kids an end of year visit like no other.
While it may not be Santa Claus, something big and red did roll onto the Comet Bay Primary School oval today, a life size version of 'Mack' from Disney Pixar movie CARS.
Mum of four Skye Jazmin entered an online competition at the beginning of the year to have the truck responsible for carrying Lightning McQueen to and from The Piston Cup come and visit the kids at her local school.
In a stroke of luck, the truck was making its way over from the east coast right as schools begin to close for the summer holidays this week.
"Perfect time of year for the kids at school winding up the year," Ms Jazmin said.
Ms Jazmin has three children attending Comet Bay, Destiny 11, Lyriq 8 and Cooper 6 were all happy to share in the fun with the other 33 classes who came to check out the display.
