A gunman who allegedly fired shots into a house in Pinjarra remains on the run.
Police say Michael Wayne Yates, 51, is wanted in connection with the shooting that happened on Hampton Road around 6am on Monday.
They believe it was a "targeted" incident
The alleged shooting took place while there were several children inside the home.
Solomon Peach, 13, witnessed the incident.
"I just heard gun shots and I was about four metres away from where the bullet flew past," he told Seven News.
"It just blew, like shattered the whole window in the roof."
Mr Yates is described as approximately 180cm tall, with a medium build, short blonde hair, goatee beard and light skinned.
He is believed to be driving a white 2005 Ford Territory Station Sedan, registration 1GLO438.
Any members of the public who see Mr Yates or the vehicle are advised not to approach him as police believe he may be armed.
Sightings should be reported to police immediately on 131 444.
