The City of Rockingham has released a flythrough video of what the Aqua Jetty will look like after its Stage Two major refurbishment.
Stage two will include the development of a wellness suite including a larger hydrotherapy pool, along with sauna, and steam rooms.
There are three adult change facilities proposed throughout the facility as well as a number of universal accessible toilets and family change facilities.
An expanded ‘learn to swim pool’ will be developed, which will help in alleviating the demand on other water spaces at the facility.
The leisure pool will also be redesigned to accommodate a new interactive splash pad and water play areas, and the water slide area will also be redesigned and expanded.
A larger gymnasium and group fitness spaces are a key part of the concept design.
The café, crèche and reception will be relocated to the front of the building, with more car parks being included in the design process.
Construction is expected to begin mid-2023.
The flythrough video is an indicative representation of the design of the Aqua Jetty Stage 2 project.
The final product may differ.
