Arson Squad investigators are seeking information relating to a deliberate fire at a tattoo parlour located on the corner of Flinders Lane and Kent Street in Rockingham.
Just after 3:10am on Thursday 12 July 2018, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire. A stolen Hino truck was reversed through concrete bollards and into the store before offenders set fire to the truck and business.
The fire caused extensive damage to the truck and business with an estimated damage cost to the truck of $20,000 and $500,000 for the business.
The truck was stolen from a commercial property located on Frederic Street in Naval Base in the early hours of Sunday 8 July 2018.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have relevant information about this fire or who saw the stolen truck anytime between Sunday 8 July and Thursday 12 July 2018.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of an arsonist.
