A Baldivis man has been charged after evading police through several southern suburbs.
The 23-year-old, who was driving a Hyundai sedan, allegedly failed to stop for officers on Phoenix Road in Spearwood around 5pm on Saturday.
The man evaded police through several suburbs including Spearwood, Hamilton Hill, Munster, Wattleup, Kwinana and Parmelia before allegedly losing control on Pitt Lane in Bertram and colliding with a parked car at low speed.
The driver allegedly tried to run from police but was arrested at the scene.
The Baldivis man has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving, no authority to drive, assaulting a public officer and excess 0.05.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
