A 16-year-old boy has been charged over a string of burglaries in the Mandurah area including an incident where he allegedly held a woman at knife-point.
The teenager allegedly broke into a home on Balwina Road in Greenfields on October 24 and threatened a 62-year-old woman with a large knife.
During the alleged incident, verbal threats were made to the woman and jewellery was ripped from her neck.
Personal items were also smashed and a sum of cash was stolen.
The boy was also allegedly involved in several home burglaries in the Greenfields and Dudley Park areas between October 8 and 9 and on October 24.
The 16-year-old from Dianella has been charged with six counts of aggravated home burglary and commit, five counts of stealing, three counts of attempted aggravated home burglary, aggravated armed robbery, criminal damage, threatening to kill and breach of bail.
He is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today.
